We stopped here for a coffee which was very good (both espresso and americano). The atmosphere is very cosy, informal, and quiet. If you like being surrounded by books and coffee smell, this is a good place to visit!

Cute, saucy bookshop/cafe. Cappuccino was great, and just what we needed on a chilly day. We ordered a few bakery items as well. Very delicious. Good stop that doesn't feel nearly as commercial as the surrounding restaurants.

Iða Zimsen café in central Reykjavík seamlessly blend a library / contemporary café aesthetic brilliantly to give a truly unique café experience downtown. There is a very relaxed, cosy vibe here that is really welcome prior to much needed morning caffeination. Their croissants are deliciously flaky and light which went down well with a glorious cup of Americano. Iða Zimsen in Reykjavík is definitely one of my favourite cafés of all time!

Very cozy classic coffee shop atmosphere that’s hard to find in the States these days. Kind and helpful staff.

Lovely coffee in a super cosy space. The service was excellent! I ordered a filter coffee, and since they were out and it would take 7-8 minutes for a new batch, I was offered a americano in the mean time (there is free refills on filter coffee).
